Duties
- Design, implement, and supervise evidence-based behavioral therapy programs tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine appropriate interventions.
- Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education professionals, medical staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff on ABA techniques, data collection, and patient care protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation, records, and confidentiality standards.
- Lead patient assessments focusing on behavioral health, medical terminology, and developmental milestones to inform effective intervention strategies.
Qualifications
- Valid BCBA-LBA certification with current licensure or certification in good standing.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, records management, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform thorough intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring privacy and security of sensitive medical information.
