We are seeking someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality finished components. This role focuses primarily on cushion upholstery and production support inside our manufacturing facility.
This is a great fit for someone with upholstery, fabrication, crafting, furniture work, or precision assembly experience.
Position Overview
This role is approximately:
60% Upholstery & Cushion Production
40% Order support / light customer coordination
You’ll be working directly with materials, templates, and finished table components that ship to clinics worldwide.
Responsibilities
Upholstery & Production (Primary Role)
Measure and cut vinyl using templates and patterns
Install foam and batting to cushion assemblies
Stretch and secure upholstery material using pneumatic staplers
Align materials carefully to maintain consistent finished appearance
Inspect completed cushions for quality before shipment
Assist with light mechanical assembly as needed
Maintain organized workstations and materials
Support improvements to production quality and efficiency
Customer & Order Support (Secondary Role)
Assist with entering and preparing customer orders
Help identify replacement cushion components
Coordinate basic shipping details
Support internal documentation and order tracking
Communicate with customers when needed regarding cushion specifications or replacements
What We're Looking For
Comfort working with your hands on detailed fabrication tasks
Strong attention to detail and visual alignment
Ability to stretch and position upholstery material accurately
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop tools
Reliability and consistency in a small-team environment
Ability to switch between production and support tasks as needed
