Instructor Pilot – C130JPosition Summary:We are seeking highly qualified Instructor/Evaluator Pilots with C-130J experience to support a groundbreaking aviation training initiative overseas. Under a U.S. State Department–approved Technical Assistance Agreement, our client is standing up a new C-130J squadron and establishing the first privately owned and operated C-130J schoolhouse to train U.S. allies worldwide. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for seasoned aviation professionals to deliver world-class training, evaluation, and mentorship in a high-impact international environment.Employment Type: Full-Time (12 Month Contract)Key Responsibilities:Conduct ground training and evaluation for partner-nation air crew.Deliver in-flight instruction, evaluation, and operational training for C-130J aircrew.Document training progress and provide recommendations for follow-on or advanced training.Travel on temporary duty assignments (TDYs) as required to support mission objectives.Mentor foreign air crew and leadership on the development of flying regulations and operating procedures.Support the creation and refinement of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for the C-130J squadron.Brief host-nation leadership on squadron capabilities, requirements, training plans, and operational readiness.Ensure compliance with international aviation standards, and host-nation regulatory requirements, maintain strict adherence to safety, export controls and training governance.Conduct risk assessments and mission planning reviews to enhance flight safety, operational readiness, and crew proficiency in diverse and unfamiliar environments.Assist partner-nation unites in building long-term training pipelines and instructor-development programs, enabling sustainable, self-sufficient aviation capability within the host nation.Experience briefing senior leaders, including foreign military leadership.Ability to operate independently in overseas environments and adapt to diverse cultural settings.Qualifications:Retired, separated, or currently serving (Reserve/Guard) Instructor/Evaluator Pilot.Current and qualified as an aircraft and/or simulator Instructor/Evaluator Pilot.Experience in any C-130J variant, including:C-130JAC-130JKC-130JHC-130JMC-130JEligible candidates may come from the following militaries:U.S., Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, South KoreaPreferred Skills:Demonstrated expertise in training, evaluating, and mentoring aircrew in multinational environments.Strong capability in developing flight regulations, SOPs, and operational guidance.Location & Compensation:Location: OverseasTotal Estimated Compensation: $264,000 - $336,000 annuallyAbout Lean Synergy:Lean Synergy Solutions is a Veteran-owned and operated recruiting firm that specializes in aligning top-tier talent with high-impact roles across a variety of industries.
