Operation: Mechanical commodity processing facility, highly hands-on with limited automation; environment can be dusty, hot, and cold. Runs 24/5, scaling up during peak production periods.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead a rural processing facility and associated satellite operations. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, foster collaboration across teams, and deliver results in a complex, high-scrutiny environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Plant Superintendent, Maintenance Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor, and influence shift leads and other supervisors.
- Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and quality across the facility.
- Oversee inventory movements, processing cycles, and warehouse operations at the plant and nearby satellite locations.
- Drive yield, labor efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster collaboration across multiple departments in a matrixed organization.
