🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop components and assemblies for road-making equipment, trailers, trucks, or similar applications.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Apply knowledge of weldments and fabrication design to create robust, production-ready solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and support prototype development and testing.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to industry and company design standards.
🎓 Required Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree (U.S.) with 2 years of relevant design experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree (U.S.) with 3–5 years of design experience in relevant industries.
Experience:
- Hands-on mechanical design experience in road-making, trailers, trucks, or automotive industries.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of weldments and fabrication design principles.
