GENERAL MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a client company based in the Florida City, FL. This role oversees all major functions including operations, production, quality, engineering, sales, and team leadership, with a focus on driving safety, operational excellence, employee engagement, and business performance.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, roll up your sleeves and get dirty, operationally minded leader with a track record of building high‑performing teams, improving processes, and driving measurable outcomes. This individual will partner with senior leadership to execute strategic priorities, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The facility is an indoor/outdoor environment rather than a controlled manufacturing setting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead day‑to‑day plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Drive operational improvements using Lean, 5S, and data‑driven decision‑making
- Develop and mentor team members to support performance, engagement, and retention
- Manage financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability
- Strengthen cross‑functional alignment and ensure clear communication of goals and expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or related environments
- Proven success leading teams in fast‑paced, multi‑project operations
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L‑related responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to engage employees at all levels
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team‑building skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
