Join a global market leader in specialist testing and safety technology. Our global client is growing rapidly through an exciting M&A strategy and looking for a Strategic Buyer with a mechanical focus to help shape their supply chain and drive commercial improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead sourcing projects and negotiate with suppliers
- Build resilient, sustainable supply chains for mechanical products
- Manage supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks
- Support new product introductions and process improvements
About You
- Experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain roles. CPSM/CPIM certified desirable (or equivalent experience)
- Commercially savvy with manufacturing knowledge
- Strong communicator and negotiator
- Experience with MRP systems, tooling/capital equipment and global logistics/foreign currency transactions is a plus
