Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using warehouse management systems and manual handling techniques
- Load and unload goods using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual or powered carts, adhering to safe lifting practices
- Operate box trucks or Refer vans for local deliveries, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely arrivals and optimize driving time
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring compliance with weight handling standards
- Deliver products directly to customers’ locations with professionalism, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for all shipments and deliveries
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
- Valid driver’s license ability to obtain DOT med card ; experience operating small to mid size box trucks is a plus
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and adherence to traffic regulations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including manual handling of packages and materials of varying weights
- Comfortable operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace
- Experience using mobile devices for route navigation and communication is advantageous
