Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Applicant must be self-motivated and eager to learn. This job can be fast-paced and labor intensive during extreme hot and cool temperatures. Duties include:

• Sod installation
• Stone levelling/installation
• Planting trees, shrubs and plants
• Operating machinery
• Repairing/installing/adjusting irrigation systems
• Lawn maintenance
• Construction projects
• Miscellaneous customer-requested outdoor duties

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Applicant MUST:

• Be able to lift 50 lbs. without excessive straining.
• Not have any pre-existing injuries that could be affected by job assignment, i.e. back or knee injury, hernia, etc. (Injuries must be noted on Pre-Existing Declaration Form)
• Have reliable transportation to and from the office at 1214 East Denman Avenue in Lufkin, TX.
• Not be a felon.

PREFERENCES

• Bilingual
• Prior experience with landscaping and irrigation installations
• Prior experience operating machinery
• Have a driver's license

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• MUST have reliable transportation to and from the office
• MUST be punctual and trustworthy
• MUST consent to random drug testing
