What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Flatbed Driver - CDL-A position at League Trucking, LLC?
League Trucking, LLC is hiring an experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Flatbed Driver. Our home terminal and truck yard is located in Tampa, FL, but you are not required to live in Tampa. Drivers may be based anywhere east of the Mississippi River, provided you have a safe place to park your truck when you are home.
This is a full-time, W-2 employee position. It is not a 1099 or independent contractor role.
Pay:
- $0.65 per mile on all miles. Loaded and deadhead miles are paid at the same rate.
- $300 minimum per load. If a load's mileage would total less than $300, you are guaranteed the $300 minimum for that load.
- Our current drivers running this same program earn approximately $85,000 per year. This figure is an estimate based on current driver earnings. Actual pay will vary depending on the miles and loads you run.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Minimum of 3 years verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Flatbed experience.
- Clean driving record and clean background. We make deliveries to military bases and port facilities, which require a clean background for site access.
- TWIC card is not required at the time of hire. Drivers who do not currently hold a TWIC card will be required to apply for one.
Additional information:
- Full-time over-the-road position. Over-the-road driver pay is structured differently than a standard hourly role.
- The selected candidate can start immediately.
- This position does not include health insurance or other benefits.
