Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush and healthy turf.
- Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities with proper techniques.
- Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support construction and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct landscape maintenance duties including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation to promote plant health.
- Support hardscape projects by installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision.
- Ensure safety standards are met during all activities by properly handling tools and machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks.
- Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health care and tree trimming techniques.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
