About the Role
The HRIS Analyst – Workforce Management (WFM) serves as the primary subject matter expert supporting UKG Workforce Management modules—including time and attendance, scheduling, and analytics. This role is responsible for system configuration, maintenance, data integrity, and process improvement to ensure an optimal user experience for employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and maintain UKG WFM modules (timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, attestation).
- Support regression testing, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business units to identify system and process improvements that enhance workforce efficiency and accuracy.
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards for insights, time tracking, and labor analysis.
- Manage and troubleshoot data integrations between UKG WFM and UKG Pro.
- Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation support for system issues; collaborate with UKG support as needed.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure system configurations align with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Develop and deliver training materials and communication for end users and HR partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably in an HRIS Specialist, HR Analyst, or HRIS Administrator role.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and HR process automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas), and other data management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
