Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage Toro POS system and to process orders, payments, and refunds seamlessly while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to promote safety.
- Restock bar supplies including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Uphold all health regulations related to food safety and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Assist in training new staff members on POS systems like Micros or Aloha POS as needed.
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy while performing cashiering duties during busy service periods.
- Contribute to a lively atmosphere by serving drinks promptly while managing multiple orders in high-energy settings such as nightclubs or events.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Experience in retail math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Background in the food industry or hospitality sector enhances your ability to adapt quickly to various service scenarios.
