Job Title: Software Engineer-SMTS-Specific Skills Apex, Java-CIO Org

Duration: 04 months with possible extension

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr on W2

Description:

Role Overview

• As a Software Engineer on the Platform Team, you will design, build, and maintain a next-generation Lightning Web Component (LWC) application that manages large-scale data dictionaries across Salesforce environments.
• This role is pivotal in streamlining metadata management processes, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and seamless integration with internal systems. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, system architects, and platform engineering teams to deliver robust, user-friendly, and performant tools that empower teams across the organization to manage and leverage metadata efficiently.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Scalable Applications

• Develop a high-performance LWC application for managing large data dictionaries and relationships.
• Write reusable, modular, and maintainable code in LWC, Apex, and JavaScript that scales to handle complex data models and high data volumes.
• Implement intuitive and consistent UI components aligned with the Lightning Design System (SLDS).
  
  

Data Management and Automation

• Build tools and flows to simplify the creation, update of Salesforce data
• Develop and maintain automation for syncing data from one system to another
• Create validation rules, field definitions, and metadata configurations that align with business and compliance requirements.
  
  

Infrastructure and Integration

• Design and implement efficient access models and security frameworks for Salesforce data
• Create and maintain repositories for all required metadata to support version control, migration, and rollback processes.
  
  

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with stakeholders to identify redundant or unnecessary fields, validation rules, and metadata during migration efforts.
• Work closely with internal DevOps, Product, and Data teams to ensure alignment with broader platform initiatives.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions to promote engineering excellence.
  
  

Skills and Experience Required

• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex
• Proficiency in Java
• Expert with Salesforce data models, including understanding of objects, fields, field types, and junction objects.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and UI/UX best practices.
• Strong understanding of how to manage large-scale data structures and data management.
• Demonstrated ability to create documentation and reusable code frameworks for long-term maintainability.
• Ability to analyze stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
