Job Title: Senior Manager, Corporate IT (W2 only)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Onsite — Austin, TX (5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $75/hr – $85/hr (W2)
Position Summary
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Corporate IT to lead service delivery for enterprise IT across networking, identity and access management (IAM), service desk operations, collaboration tools, end-user computing, and cloud/SaaS platform administration. In this 6-month contract, you will modernize IT operations, eliminate technical debt, and establish scalable processes and KPIs to support engineering and corporate teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day corporate IT service delivery for networking, IAM (SSO, MFA, lifecycle), service desk, end-user computing, collaboration platforms, and SaaS/cloud administration.
- Assess current-state infrastructure, identify technical debt and operational gaps, and deliver a prioritized modernization roadmap within the contract term.
- Define and drive SLAs, KPIs, service health monitoring, incident and escalation management, and RCA-driven problem resolution.
- Mentor and develop IT staff; instill a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with engineering, R&D, and corporate stakeholders to align IT services to business needs.
- Manage Atlassian governance and licensing and optimize Microsoft 365 and related productivity platforms.
- Provide escalation leadership during major incidents and ensure timely communications and post-incident improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12 years of progressive IT experience, with substantial experience leading technical teams.
- Proven success managing corporate IT operations and enterprise service delivery in technically sophisticated organizations.
- Track record modernizing IT environments and raising operational maturity and service quality.
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking, IAM (SSO, MFA, lifecycle), service desk operations, end-user computing, collaboration platforms, and cloud/SaaS administration.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Atlassian product suites.
- Solid understanding of IT service management, incident response, escalation management, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience working with engineering and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams and enforce operational accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on technical expertise in one or more infrastructure or enterprise IT domains (networking, endpoint, IAM, cloud).
- Prior experience supporting R&D, engineering, or highly technical organizations.
- Experience leading enterprise IT modernization, transformation, or technical debt-reduction programs.
- Familiarity with semiconductor or other deep-tech, fast-paced industries.
