Job Overview
Leads Way Therapeutic Services is seeking motivated and compassionate Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Specialists (RBHS Coaches) to provide community-based behavioral health services to children and families. This position focuses on helping clients improve functioning, reduce behavioral challenges, and achieve goals outlined in their Individual Plan of Care (IPOC).
RBHS services are medically necessary, goal-directed interventions designed to improve functioning and restore independence in home, school, and community settings .
Compensation (Contract Rate)
- Bachelor’s Degree: $17.00/hour
- Bachelor’s Degree Experience: $18.00/hour
- Master’s Degree (no experience): $19.00/hour
- Master’s Degree Experience: $20.00/hour
Position Type
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Flexible schedule (afternoons, evenings, some weekends as needed)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral health interventions to clients in:
- Home
- School
- Community settings
- Implement interventions outlined in the Individual Plan of Care (IPOC)
- Utilize evidence-based approaches including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques
- Assist clients with:
- Behavior management
- Emotional regulation
- Social skills development
- Daily living skills
- Maintain accurate, Medicaid-compliant documentation (BIRP notes, service documentation)
- Participate in supervision and ongoing training
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and treatment team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings
Requirements
- Reliable transportation (required – travel is part of the role)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass:
- Background check
- Central Registry
- OIG/SAM clearance
- Must be able to work in multiple environments (home, school, community)
- Must maintain professionalism, boundaries, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance required)
