What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at LEADS, Inc.?
This non-exempt-level position reports to the Community Services Director, and supervises all field-based program staff, including, but not limited to Home Repair, Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) and AEP. The Production Manager will:
· Maintain and ensure that all monthly production goals are met on monthly, quarterly and yearly bases.
· Must be able to deal with difficult people and provide conflict resolution.
· Responsible for continuous daily supervision of assigned crew, daily coordination of crew and completion of work scheduled to be completed, when the crew leader is not available.
· Ensure all HWAP standards are followed for each home as outlined in the Standard Work Specifications (SWS) manual and/or Residential Rehab Standards (RRS) whichever is applicable. Giving careful attention to proper inspections, installation or repair and to the quality of work.
· Ability to supervise the crew leaders and assist in the development of their skills and well as function as a crew member.
· Provide client education, inform client of procedures and work to be done by LEADS Staff. Provide information and technical assistance.
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given for an Associate’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year experience in the management and supervision of projects dealing with weatherization, home repairs, etc. Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License, proof of auto insurance and a clean driving record for work related driving. Must be computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have the ability to learn new systems. Ability to lift 45 pounds as needed. Strong organization and time management skills required. Must be able to stand for eight-and-one-half hours a day, as needed. Must be able to climb ladders, possibly enter tight quarters and may work in unclean conditions in a customer’s home. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions and perform on-site observations of work at various work sites. Must submit to a background check, including BCI and FBI Criminal Records, Federal and State Sex Offender registries and various other agencies. Must complete a pre-employment drug screening. Salary range is $25.21 - $26.76 per hour.
