Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Content Creator to own our social presence and build a repeatable growth engine across LinkedIn → Reddit → Twitter/X → TikTok. You’ll combine SEO-driven copywriting with AI/LLM optimization and GEO strategies, personally create and edit short- and long-form content (including video), and orchestrate a nimble bench of contractors (design, video) to scale output without sacrificing quality. We’re big on creative testing, bring bold ideas.
Responsibilities
Lead social strategy & calendar
- Quarterly plan with weekly cadences per channel; content pillars (AI in RevOps/MarOps, data quality, prospecting plays, partner spotlights, customer proof).
- Create, maintain, and execute social media calendar.
Create SEO-informed social content
- Write high-quality SEO copy and maintain an SEO prompt library (brief templates AI prompts) for outlines, hooks, captions, hashtags, CTAs, alt text, and metadata.
End-to-end content & video production (you make it)
- Plan, script, self-record, and edit videos (9:16 Shorts/Reels/TikTok LinkedIn native), audiograms, screen recordings, product walk-throughs, thumbnails, and carousels.
- Leverage AI tools for scripting, subtitles, b-roll, upscaling, voice cleanup, and remixing (e.g., Descript/CapCut/Runway—or similar). Experiment fast on hooks and formats.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) & AI answer engines
- Build a GEO playbook for appearing in AI Overviews and answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot): structured Q&A content, source-backed claims, tables/checklists.
- Create RAG-friendly snippets and citations; standardize “house answers” for priority queries to reduce hallucinations and keep brand voice consistent.
- Track share of answers (presence, citation rate) across AI surfaces; run experiments on prompt patterns and content structure to improve inclusion and accuracy.
Community building & moderation
- Engage on LinkedIn (company exec pages), relevant subreddits, X lists, TikTok comments; set response guidelines and a light crisis/misinformation playbook.
Creator & contractor management
- Brief, assign, and QA contractors; manage timelines/budgets—while still producing core assets yourself.
Distribution & partnerships
- Run repeatable plays around webinars, partner events, and podcasts (teasers, clips, quote cards, live threads, recaps); enable employee advocacy with post kits.
Measurement & experimentation
- Define KPIs; A/B test hooks, formats, CTAs; maintain UTM conventions; report weekly on funnel impact (engagement → traffic → form fills → influenced pipeline).
Requirements
- 0-2 years in B2B social/SEO content (SaaS preferred); thrives in a scrappy Series A environment.
- Proven self-produced video skills: scripting, recording, editing, captions, thumbnails; portfolio with outcomes.
- SEO GEO chops: structured content, FAQ patterns, schema/JSON-LD familiarity, and experience optimizing for AI Overviews/answer engines.
- Comfortable simplifying complex topics (AI, data, RevOps/MarOps) into accessible stories.
- Hands-on with: LinkedIn, Reddit tooling/mod, X, TikTok; GA4/Search Console; one of Ahrefs/SEMrush; etc
- Strong analytics mindset (UTMs, experiments, funnel attribution)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple high-impact deliverables simultaneously
- Strong collaborator and communicator who thrives in a remote, cross-functional startup culture
- No formal degree necessary
