What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research and Development Engineering Technician position at Leading Technology Composites, Inc.?
The Research and Development (R&D) Engineering Technician will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling test articles and other duties as assigned by Research and Development Management. This job will require the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams while aiding and promoting Research and Development efforts to further future opportunities for the organization while facilitating continuous improvement in current processes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Skills:
▪ Ability to read and interpret drawings
▪ Build prototypes, tooling, etc. with limited direction
▪ Experience With Composites (preferred)
▪ Mentally flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
▪ Creating and Tracking Work Orders, issuing material
▪ Basic CAD Based Modeling, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Etc. (Preferred)
▪ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
▪ Visual acuity
▪ Ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
▪ Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Hourly Position

- Ability to follow written and verbal, multi-step instructions, and communicate
- Computer skills
