Local Driver
Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM Friday 6AM-10AM
Required skills/knowledge (include minimum physical requirements):
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Must be 21 years of age to meet the DOT requirements.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to drive and back a box truck, cargo van, and flatbed truck with a flatbed trailer.
- Receive, check, store and issue a variety of materials while maintaining inventory control.
- Positive attitude and happy outlook.
- Load, unload and deliver a variety of materials to various locations throughout the facility.
- Prepare and package parts using proper procedures and materials.
- Use computer hardware/software to maintain inventory, enter and retrieve data and other computer input requirements.
- Handle, maintain inventory, shelf-life material and time and temperature sensitive materials as well as chemicals.
- Lift various heavy items safely and as a team when necessary.
- Follow military and aerospace regulation requirements.
- Check, prepare, process and file a variety of paperwork pertaining to tasks.
- Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
- Assist employees in performing duties.
- Improve processes and solve problems with the team of coworkers.
- Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
- Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack as necessary.
- Perform all related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
Salary : $36,988 - $51,144
