Job Description:
- sanding and grinding for final paint
- Use disc grinders, caulking gun, air tools and hand tools
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and or sanding using hand tools and power tools
- Apply masking tape and labels over parts and areas that are not to be painted, ensuring precision to avoid overspray
- Fiberglass is regularly pepped in this area
- Regular lifting 15-30 lbs
- Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental laws and company regulations
- Ability to follow work instructions to ensure parts are made per customer requirements.
- Visual inspection of both parts and tools for damage or quality issue.
- Fill dents and scratches with epoxy resin, ensuring a smooth, flawless surface for painting
- Inspect painted surfaces for runs, sags, and unpainted areas, performing touch-ups and corrective actions as necessary
- Must be dependable.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and good manual dexterity are strongly needed to perform job correctly.
