Leading safety solutions is looking for a NYC DOB Licensed Site Safety Coordinator.The Site Safety Coordinators will have experience with monitoring assigned construction sites in the NYC area and enforce compliance with government regulations, acts and standards. This individual must currently possess a New York City Department of Buildings Site Safety Manager License. Candidates without an active license will not be considered.NYC DOB Site Safety Manager or Coordinator License,FDNY Construction Site Fire Safety Manager Certification, Supervisor SST Card - 62 Hours id required.Candidates applying without the above referenced required licenses / certifications will not be considered.Site Safety Manager Responsibilities:Duties as required by Chapter 33 of the 2014 NYC Building CodeDuties as required by Chapter 8 and Chapter 14 of the FDNY CodeDuties as required by 1926 OSHA Standards for ConstructionEnsure compliance for the safety of site workers and general publicDevelop safety kick-off presentations and conduct on-site orientations and pre-shift meetingsConduct daily site safety inspections, safety assessments and safety auditsInvestigate all accidents and complete all required paperworkConduct risk assessmentsMake recommendations concerning the modification, improvement, or removal of any company equipment, facilities, or machinery that is hazardous to employee safety or healthCompile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested by management or customerServe as company liaison with Overseeing Municipalities, OSHA, Insurance carriers and other regulatory agenciesMaintain all safety related documentationEducation/Qualifications:Fluent in English, written and verbalAbility to teach and train others on safety programAbility to plan and implement projectsAbility to identify known potential exposures and recommending corrective actionAbility to read and understand drawings and specificationsProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Minimum three (3) years of construction safety management experienceWorking knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques and methodsKnowledge of OSHA-CFR 1926 "Construction Safety & Health", the New York City Department of Buildings Construction Safety requirements, Chapter 33 and FDNY Code Chapter 14Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
