🎶 What You’ll Do
As a music educator at Leading Note Studios, you’ll inspire students of all ages as they learn and grow in their musical skills. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching proper technique, rhythm, note reading, and musicianship
- Incorporating music theory, sight-reading, and metronome skills
- Preparing students for recitals, performance opportunities, and auditions
- Setting goals and celebrating achievements through our award-winning Musical Ladder System®
- Creating a fun, structured, and supportive lesson environment
- Strong proficiency on your primary instrument
- Passion for working with kids and teens
- College-level music education (degree or in-progress)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic beginner-level piano skills (or willingness to learn)
- $25–$35 per hour (based on experience and specialization)
- Weekday availability between 1:00–8:00 PM
- Saturday availability between 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Teach 1–5 days per week — Saturdays strongly preferred
- Paid cancellations/no-shows
