Under the general direction of the agency’s Clinical Director, the Therapist is responsible for providing direct client care under the supervision of the Clinical Director. The Therapist also maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per company policies, procedures and best practices; communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and support Behavioral Health Consultants (BHTs)
· Develop and maintain workflows that promote integrated care and timely access to services
· Monitor program performance, quality metrics, and compliance with regulatory standards
· Provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to staff
· Collaborate with primary care leadership to implement best practices in behavioral health integration
· Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
· Lead program development and improvement initiatives to strengthen behavioral health integration in primary care.
· Maintain documentation and reporting for quality improvement and funding requirements
· Track and analyze outcome measures (access, quality, utilization) and use data to guide program improvements

Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
· Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
· Independent licensure in Arizona (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
· Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
· At least 1 year of experience in primary care, behavioral health and program development required.
· Experience leading program development or expansion initiatives.
· Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by AZDPS, maintained throughout employment
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
· Current Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH)
· Strong knowledge of integrated care models, evidence-based interventions, and compliance requirements
The following qualifications are preferred:
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required to successfully perform the job.
Please note that these requirements may be waived for employees who are not assigned to physical locations and are fully remote or virtual. Staff in hybrid roles are required to meet all stated requirements for the assigned site(s).
The ideal candidate will also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· Knowledge of behavioral health integration and evidence-based practices
· Ability to supervise and coach clinical staff
· Strong organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate primary care behavioral health programs.
· Ability to analyze program data and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
· Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with medical providers, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.
· Commitment to cultural competency, health equity, and trauma-informed care in supervising staff and designing programs.
