Job Description
Leading Edge specializes in the detailing of interiors and exteriors on private and corporate aircraft throughout the Northeast. We are seeking part time to full time employees who will be willing to perform a variety of tasks at our Bedford, MA location.
Job Overview:
Hours: 8am-5pm
Entry Level Position - Aircraft detailers provide a wide variety of exceptional detailing services to private and corporate aircraft. Interior & Exterior Detailers needed. Simple wipe downs, polishing paint and buffing bright work is performed on a daily basis. Attention to detail is a must. Use of power tools is required for exterior work.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- 10 Year FAA/FBI Background Check:
Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 107: Airport Security stipulates various requirements for protecting airports from crimes against civil aviation. Part 107 requires employment history, verification and criminal history records checks (if applicable) of individuals applying for airport identification badges that permit unescorted access authority to the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)
Daily Duties include but are not limited to:
- Handling all aspect of interior and exterior cleanings by hand
- Using hand power machines to polish paint or aluminum surfaces for exterior work
- Climbing ladders and operating lifts
- Working in confined spaces for interior work
- Vacuuming and using aerosol sprays in interiors
- Cleaning lavatories
- Deep cleaning carpets with an extractor
Benefits are offered after completing probation period.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
