What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Tooling Maintenance position at Leading cable and harness manufacturer?
Responsible for the oversight of all facilities maintenance activities including scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment; overseeing and managing contracted services and vendors, and providing technical guidance in the areas of electrical, mechanical, or plumbing
Define and prepare technical documentation to support equipment and tooling procurement.
Support production during equipment installation, release, and parameter setup. Review and formally approve for adequacy before release to Production. Maintain a released-equipment database
Coordinate with the building landlord as needed and submit work orders required for the buildings
Manage calibration of all tooling including records in Quality Management Software.
Issue and log tooling to produciton
Reviews, understands, and interprets schematic drawings such as hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or plumbing diagrams
Uses power tools, calibration equipment, and other small hand tools to repair equipment, machinery, etc
Responds to requests from employees and departments regarding facilities-related issues or support including after-hours facilities issues or emergencies as needed
Manage recyclable material and Ewaste
Daily visual check of physical building to identify safety hazards/maintenance issues and report to management in a timely manner
Familiarity of Cable Harness manufacturing equipment a plus
