A confidential capital markets firm in New York City is seeking an Loan Finance and Operations Manager to support a high-volume structured finance and securitized lender on a variety of projects. This Loan Finance and Operations Manager role sits at the intersection of sales support, loan operations, project management, and transaction execution, playing a critical role in ensuring accuracy, speed, and control across complex financing transactions.
The ideal Loan Finance and Operations Manager candidate brings hands-on experience with loan agreements, structured products, and securitized assets, and thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Provide operational and documentation support to sales, origination, and capital markets teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Coordinate transaction workflows for structured finance and securitized loan transactions, ensuring timely execution.
- Act as a key liaison between sales, legal, credit, treasury, and external counterparties.
Loan Agreement & Documentation Review
- Review and analyze loan agreements, credit agreements, and securitization documentation to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
- Support deal closings by validating terms, funding mechanics, payment structures, and reporting requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, operational risks, and documentation issues prior to execution.
Operations & Post-Closing Support
- Support loan boarding, settlement, and ongoing servicing for structured and securitized assets.
- Ensure accurate setup of loan terms, payment waterfalls, covenants, and reporting schedules.
- Assist with ongoing portfolio maintenance, amendments, and investor reporting coordination.
Structured Finance & Capital Markets Operations
- Support operational processes related to ABS, structured credit, warehouse facilities, securitized loan portfolios, and reporting.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure operational alignment with transaction structures.
- Contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation standards in a growing platform.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in structured finance, securitized lending, capital markets operations, reporting, audit, project management, business analyst roles, or loan operations.
- Hands-on experience reviewing or supporting loan agreements, structured finance documentation, or credit facilities.
- Strong understanding of loan lifecycle operations, including funding, settlements, and post-closing support.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to ABS, securitizations, warehouse facilities, or structured credit products.
- Experience supporting sales or front-office teams in a capital markets environment.
- Familiarity with legal documentation workflows and coordination with internal or external counsel.
- Experience working in hybrid or consulting-based roles.
