We’re seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the team at Monadnock Community Hospital. This is a hands-on clinical support position working directly with physicians and nursing staff to provide quality, compassionate care to patients in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, and laboratory testing within the scope of MA certification
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Assist patients with movement to and from examination rooms and during procedures
- Handle patient calls and provide instructions as directed by the physician
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Complete referral forms, laboratory slips, and other required documentation
- Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Monitor and requisition supplies as needed
- Assist with nursing procedures as directed by the physician
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
- Perform other duties within the scope of Medical Assistant certification as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of demonstrated Medical Assistant experience in a medical setting
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized MA training
- Current Medical Assistant certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy clinical environment
