Overview

The Durham Bulls are seeking a motivated and service-oriented professional to join our Box Office team as a Ticketing Service Intern for the 2026 season. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while supporting ticket operations and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, fan-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities And Essential Functions

• Process and service ticket orders using the ticketing system
• Assistwith season ticket and plan renewals
• Establish andmaintainprofessional working relationships with ballpark staff, partners, and clients
• Deliver a consistentlyhigh levelof service and professionalism across all customer interactions
• Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and in person at the Box Office
• Performadditionalticket operations and administrative duties as assigned
  
  

Additional Duties

• Assistwith all events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park
• Support general Front Office operations, including hiring events,special events, tarp pulls, and other duties typical of a Minor League Baseball front office
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong people skills; organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and all home events
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; adaptable to feedback, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines
• Previouscustomer service, boxofficeand/or sales experience preferred
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to occasionallylift upto 20 pounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Close vision and ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to use hands for typing and other essential job functions
  
  

Work Conditions

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain focused and productive in noisy, crowded environments with multiple distractions
• May require working outdoors in varying and unpredictable weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
  
  

Pre-Employment Information

• Pay Rate: $10/hour
• Duration: May2026 – September 2026
• A pre-employment drug screening isrequired.
