Intern Experience & Marketing Analytics Intern

Open to: Rising juniors or seniors interested in marketing, data analytics, event management or 

workforce development.

About: 

Leadership Delaware, Inc. leads Intern Delaware, a program designed to attract and retain 

Delaware’s future workforce by providing supplemental educational and networking 

opportunities to summer interns. From June to August, Intern Delaware provides access to 

business and community leaders through a speaker series, encourages interns to explore 

Delaware through our planned experiences, and allows participants to create and strengthen 

their networks—all to promote the First State as a great place to live and work after college.

This internship blends event management, marketing support, and data analytics. The ideal 

candidate is excited about understanding participant engagement, tracking program metrics, 

and using data to improve event and marketing outcomes.

Responsibilities: 

• Support planning and on-site execution of Intern Delaware events 

• Track intern attendance, engagement metrics, and employer participation data

• Manage spreadsheets and dashboards to monitor program performance

• Assist with event registration systems 

• Support email communications and marketing outreach efforts

• Analyze survey results and post-event feedback to identify trends

• Maintain and update participant databases

• Provide general operational and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• Two years of academic progress toward a degree in marking, business, data analytics, 

communications, or related field

• Experience with programs like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred, but not required

• Previous event coordination experience preferred 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Proven strong verbal communication skills
