Leaders Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Tech - New Model Launches for one of our clients in Adams County, IN. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support Quality Control and New Model launches in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on inspections, testing, documentation, and compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections, testing, and validation using lab equipment and hand gauges
- Support new model / new program quality activities
- Assist with PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, and Work Standards
- Monitor quality, technical, and schedule status; report findings to management
- Participate in continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and downtime initiatives
- Support and comply with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, safety, and 5C activities
- Communicate effectively with production, team leaders, and management
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or quality environment experience preferred
Preferred Skills
- PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA
- ISO/TS 16949 / IATF 16949
- Internal or Supplier Auditing
- Basic lab equipment, hand gauges, computer skills
- New Program / New Model support experience
