Leaders in Community Alternatives, Inc., also known as “LCA” among our participants, customers, and the criminal justice community, is an accredited community-based criminal justice organization originally founded in 1991. LCA offers innovative and progressive intervention programs to the criminal justice community through a range of community-based and in-custody programs across multiple counties in California.
LCA applies evidence-based criminal justice practices to all our service delivery models, programs, and curriculum. LCA’s broad array of services includes residential treatment programs, adult reentry and juvenile day reporting programs, adult employment services, and electronic monitoring programs including Curfew Monitoring (EM), GPS Tracking (GPS), and Continuous Alcohol Monitoring (CAM).

Position Overview
The Clinical Supervisor will conduct assessments, review case plans, ensure follow-through on linkages to mental health, substance abuse treatment, and other services, and provide support. Additionally, the CS will provide one-on-one and group interventions to clients assigned to the Secure Track program.
Desirable Characteristics
- Prior experience working with juvenile offenders
- Experience working with at risk youth and their families in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge and/or experience working in a jail/prison environment and knowledge of the criminal justice
- system preferred.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds; strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure; good sense of humor; flexible and patient.
- Valid California Driver License with safe driving record.
- Must be able to pass Livescan background check and Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall Background clearance.
- Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree (MSW / MFT required).
- Preference for candidates with familiarity and/or experience working in collaboration with juvenile justice/probation/individuals involved with the criminal justice system.
- Must be eligible or have an active NPI Number.
- Must have previous experience documenting in electronic health records systems, and demonstrate efficiency in utilizing such systems.
- Must have an active CPR/First-Aid Certification (if not, will be required to attain within 90-days after hire).
- Strong preference for bilingual candidates; English and additional language(s).
