The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the final stage of the fulfillment lifecycle. This role ensures that every order leaving the facility is accurate, securely packaged, and routed via the most cost-effective and timely carrier. You are the last set of eyes on our product before it reaches the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Verification: Cross-reference physical items against digital pick tickets/packing slips within the WMS to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Carrier Management: Process shipments through various carrier portals (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, USPS) and internal platforms.
- Packaging Excellence: Select appropriate box sizes and packing materials to minimize dimensional weight costs while ensuring zero transit damage.
