What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Veterinary ER/ICU/GP Technicians + Assistants position at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital?
ICU, and Emergency Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) OR Veterinary Technicians with veterinary experience ONLY!!
– CVT’s & RVT’s are a vital part of our health care team. As highly trained and educated staff members, we rely on them to take care of our critically ill hospitalized patients and assist our doctors in surgery. In addition, they provide direction and leadership to our veterinary assistant staff. All of our CVT’s and RVTs play a critical role by maintaining the very strict, high standards mandated by the LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital.
Schedule – Because we are open 24 hours a day, many local veterinarians are depending on us to care for their clients and patients when they are closed. To work at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital, you must be willing to work evenings and weekends. You MUST be able to work Saturdays and/or Sundays. We try to work around family needs and school schedules for all of our staff. This creates a fluid and ever-changing schedule, so flexibility is valued. New employees may have to wait for up to a year to be put on a “set” schedule.
