Position: Maintenance Specialist
Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Type: On-site (100%)
Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Provide high caliper engineering/maintenance support to our customers to improve performance in Safety, Operational Availability, Material & Energy Consumption, Equipment Life Expectancy, Process Flow, and Sustainability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
· Works safely at all times.
· Follow all safety rules/guidelines/policies established by Leadec and/or Site Specifics.
· Identify areas of improvement regarding safety, operational availability, material consumption, energy consumption, process flow, equipment life & serviceability.
· Develop and implement countermeasures for the identified areas of improvement.
· Develop, communicate and execute implementation plan of improvements with customer's approval that includes expected impact of changes, any additional costs or parts required, timing of changes, support or equipment needed, safety precautions, confirmation plan, documentation of changes, sustainability.
· Track and report on all improvement activities (development, impact, implementation, confirmation, results).
· Support 353C prep activities (PMO, Maximo, WIS).
· Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
· All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· Previous experience in supervision or management is preferred.
· Strong work ethic.
· Possess a strong customer service mentality.
· Progressive responsibilities in supervision.
· Computer literacy with skills in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
· Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
· Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
· Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
