Position: Electrical Journeyman
Location: Greenville, SC
Job Type: Onsite
Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair all types of electrical systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
· Works safely at all times.
· Materials, supplies and tool preparation for daily work tasks
· Trouble shooting and/or diagnosis of equipment or machinery as qualified.
· Preventative maintenance of equipment or machinery as qualified
· Corrective maintenance of equipment or machinery as qualified
· Cleanup of work or service area following work activity
· Materials, parts and supply disposal and put away following work activity.
· Communication and documentation of complete and incomplete activity per established Leadec or customer process
· Mechanical Repairs: Change bearings, bushings, welding, fabrication, etc.
· Ability to run conduit (the ability to operate a JLG is a plus)
· Knowledge of industrial electrical cabinet components (contactors, breakers, wiring numbering, sensors, photo-eyes, cables, etc.).
· Knowledge of Ethernet communication and components: (IO cards, E-Taps, field drives, addressing)
· Familiarity with PLC ladder logic and troubleshooting
· Familiarity with AB and Fuji drives
· Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
· All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

o Advanced knowledge and skills with Microsoft Suite.
· Ability to facilitate the recovery of 100% of equipment from a technical fault without assistance.
· Ability to demonstrate sound practices and methodology in the execution with mechanical, electrical and programming issues or repairs, as well as any other assigned activities.
· Have knowledge of and be capable of demonstrating expert knowledge and capabilities with reliability maintenance practices and methods when executing mechanical and electrical repairs of equipment, as well as other assigned maintenance activities.
· Knowledge of reliability maintenance technologies, proactive and predictive maintenance practices.
· Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Position Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
· Valid driver's license required for certain positions.
· Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Applicable Skill and Knowledge competency level demonstrated through certificate or testing required.
· Previous experience with Controls and Electrical system installation required.
· Previous experience with PLC and electrical troubleshooting required.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
· Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
· Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
· Work is performed in an office/industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
