In need of Skilled Labors / Apprentice Carpenters for Long-term work
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers / Apprentice Carpenters in the Federal way or Tacoma area to assemble and disassemble warehouse racking systems at various job sites. This role involves hands-on work installing, moving, and tearing down pallet racking and various types of shelving systems in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble pallet racking and warehouse shelving systems
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on-site
- Measure, level, and secure racking components accurately
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow job site safety procedures and company standards
- Work efficiently as part of a crew in fast-paced environments
- Travel to various job sites throughout the region
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Must have:
1. Strong work ethic and reliability (required)
2. Ability to work well with a team and follow directions
3. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
4. Reliable transportation (travel to multiple jobsites)
5. Ability working at heights and on ladders/lifts when needed
6. Follow all safety policies and procedures
7. Basic hand tools and PPE (required)
8. OSHA certification or forklift/scissor lift experience is a plus, but not required
9. Construction, carpentry, warehouse installation, or general labor experience preferred
