Job Description Summary: Life Coaching at Reach is designed to draw out the God-given potential of the students we work with through intentional listening, thoughtfully raised questions, and facilitated group mentoring. As students are referred to Reach by the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and the detention center, they will participate in life-coaching sessions - both individual and group-based.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a regular coaching schedule, ensuring students complete 2–5 required sessions during their diversion contract and/or transitional coaching period
- Document session participation, goals, progress, and outcomes in Planning Center in a timely and confidential manner
- Serve as a mentor Thursday nights at group mentoring
- Attend Reach staff meetings and trainings
- Work alongside the Reach Program Director and Case Manager to ensure students successfully complete their individually-tailored Diversion and Intervention Plans
- Collaborate with Reach staff, DJJ representatives, and community partners to ensure coordinated care and support
- Participate in program planning, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of coaching and group mentoring models
- Assist with occasional program events, outreach, or special initiatives as needed
Monday-Thursday / 22-25 Hours
$20-$23/Hr
