Director of Business Development
Location: EAST COAST, US
Lead Candidate are partnering with a global leader in API manufacturing and provider of CDMO services to the pharma industry as they seek a Director of Business Development. This is an opportunity to join a driven commercial team with a high performance culture. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of professional business development experience to this hunter role based on the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities with prospects and targets.
- Use proven ability to build and nurture relationships with new and current customers.
- Execute strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain detailed reports and manage CRM tools
- Stay on top of market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.
- Represent the organization at major industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with industry leaders.
You
To help propel this organization forward, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proficiency in English
