What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founder's Right Hand position at Lead Artisan?
This role is for someone early in their professional journey who wants to learn how a real business is built from the ground up.
Our company is led by a hands-on founder who builds with faith, grit, and vision. He's not a desk-only CEO. He's on job sites, meeting clients, solving problems in real time, and making fast decisions.
What he needs isn't another manager.
He needs a right-hand, someone who can move with him, think with him, and grow under direct mentorship.
This is a learn-by-doing role. You'll be beside the founder daily, absorbing how leadership works, how deals are handled, how people are managed, and how vision turns into execution.
If you're hungry, dependable, physically active, and want proximity to leadership instead of a slow corporate ladder, this role was built for you.
What You'll Be Doing
This role blends operations, logistics, execution, and hands-on support.
Business & Field Execution
- Ride alongside the founder to job sites, meetings, and property walkthroughs
- Help coordinate schedules, priorities, and follow-through
- Prepare client materials, proposals, and presentations
- Sit in on meetings to learn decision-making, negotiation, and leadership
- Handle fast-moving tasks that keep projects on track
Operational Support
- Manage calendars, reminders, follow-ups, and shifting priorities
- Solve problems quickly without needing hand-holding
- Anticipate what's needed next and take initiative
- Be the extra set of eyes and hands that keeps momentum moving
Personal & Practical Support
- Assist with logistics that directly affect the founder's ability to operate
- Run errands, handle time-sensitive needs, and step in when things need to move fast
- Occasionally assist with family-related needs that overlap with business flow
This is not a desk-bound role. You'll be moving, learning, and executing most days.
Who This Is For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is in a season of life where learning and work can be a focus
- Wants real-world business exposure, not theory
- Is comfortable being on the move—job sites, meetings, office, and home
- Learns best by watching, doing, and asking questions
- Takes pride in being reliable, capable, and useful
- Is motivated by responsibility, trust, and growth—not titles
Faith matters here. The founder is openly Christian, and alignment with those values is important for trust and culture.
What You'll Gain
- Direct mentorship from a high-capacity founder
- Real exposure to leadership, operations, and decision-making
- Skills you cannot learn in school or entry-level office jobs
- A fast track to increased responsibility as you prove yourself
- Personal, professional, and spiritual growth
