Summary This position will be responsible for processing and tracking of documents in the Post Closing area. This position will also be responsible for ensuring documents are received and processed accurately based on the client’s procedure expectations. These functions may vary in the line of the area whether that is doing front-end functions and back-end functions. These functions included Mail Opening, Batching, Prepping etc. Essential Functions Receive mail routed to area from Mailroom area and sort documents based on the account(s) applicable to Post Closing area. Batching documents by using the loan number found on the documents. Looking up documents in the system to determine the loan number(s) or routing to NDL’s. Entering not downloaded information from documents onto Microsoft Excel work sheet. Removing staples from documents to get it ready to scanning area. Post Scanning the documents after returning from the scanning area. Retrieve documents from storage to pull for shipping. Attaching the Investor cover sheets on the documents. Sorting the documents based on their respective investor information. X-batch documents to be able to complete/close out the tasks in the system. This position will have KPI metrics based on the number of tasks completed as well as the ability to maintain an acceptable error rate. Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple objectives to meet client deadlines and department goals. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics driven environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience No previous experience required. Working Conditions Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location. Physical Demands and Activities While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; frequently position self to maintain files; rarely moves boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders. NTC Non-Exempt Operations Position The amount of work that needs to be accomplished to service the needs of NTC clients is subject to fluctuations. Due to these fluctuations, NTC may require its employees to move from an area where work is slower to an area where their services are more needed by NTC.
