Job Description Scott Petroleum, a leader in the petroleum industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and have experience in pipe fitting. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: · Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment, including but not limited to pumps, meters, and other related systems. · Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify and implement appropriate solutions promptly. · Utilize pipe fitting skills to install, repair, and maintain pipelines, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Calls and Installations: · Service Calls on LP residential accounts · Install new residential and commercial LP tanks · Install new fuel and oil tanks · Operate company vehicles, including trucks and specialized service vehicles, to transport equipment to various job sites. · Maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations. Safety Compliance: · Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. · Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or safety concerns. Documentation: · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service activities. · Complete required paperwork, including work orders and service reports, in a timely and accurate manner. Team Collaboration: · Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. · Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as needed. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus · Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker and Haz-Mat endorsements and a clean driving record · Propane installation license and experience preferred · Experience in pipe fitting preferred · Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills · Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds). · Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
