The Wasserman Rights team represents global and national best-in-class rights holder clients to drive commercial revenue through strategy consultation and selling sponsorship assets, where the team acts as an extension of our retainer clients. As a key member of the Rights team, this individual will be responsible for learning how to support the Rights team with all facets of global and regional sponsorship sales. This position will gain first-hand experience working within a global network of industry experts as well as gain exposure to some of the world’s most premier corporations and sport/entertainment organizations. Job Overview As a key member of the Rights team, this individual will be responsible for learning how to support the Rights team with all facets of global and regional sponsorship sales. What You'll Do Work directly with team members to develop and implement sales strategy Compile a weekly Sponsorship & Brand Report sent to the entire sales team Conduct research for prospect brand briefs when requested by sales leads and accounts using research applications like ZoomInfo and Global Data Tool Create bios for sales leads before pitch calls, using LinkedIn and other research applications Collaborate with the UK team across research and other efforts Assist with property / rightsholder research for new business opportunities Participate in calls and meetings with global associates, clients, and/or prospective sponsors What We're Looking For Demonstrate an understanding and a passion for industry verticals like media, sports, tech, social impact, lifestyle and entertainment Strategic and analytical mindset with strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote Experience in conducting research to support commercial/marketing proposals Basic knowledge of Salesforce (useful but not essential) Able to juggle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines Passionate, curious, proactive, self-starter, and an interest in continued learning of the sport and entertainment industry Internship Program Details Must be able to commit 40 hours per week Internship dates are January 27, 2026 - May 1, 2026 Preference for applicants that can come into our New York City Office (One Liberty Plaza) based office 3 times per week This program is offered at a rate of $19/hour.
