JOB SUMMARY The Surgical Charge Capture Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all surgical-related charges, including those from the Operating Room, Same Day Surgery, and Anesthesia services. This role supports the integrity of the hospital’s revenue cycle by reviewing clinical documentation, validating charge entries, reconciling case data, and identifying potential missed or incorrect charges. The Specialist acts as a liaison between perioperative staff, coding, billing, and supply chain to ensure compliance with billing regulations and internal financial standards.
