Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) The Accounts Payable Coordinator supports the Finance Department by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role is responsible for maintaining organized financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function. Key Responsibilities -Review, verify, and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and proper authorization -Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation -Enter accounts payable transactions into the Workday financial system -Prepare and assist with payment runs in accordance with established schedules -Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner -Respond to vendor inquiries and support the maintenance of positive vendor relationships -Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting as needed -Ensure compliance with internal controls, hospital policies, and applicable regulations -Maintain accurate and well-organized accounts payable records and documentation Education & Experience -Associate's degree required -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred -Minimum of 1–2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred -Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment a plus -Experience with ERP or accounting systems required (Workday preferred) Skills & Competencies -Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy -Effective written and verbal communication skills -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Salary Range: $48,000 - $55,000 Employment Non-Discrimination: Richmond University Medical Center is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment and provides full and equal employment opportunities to all employees and potential employees without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions and needs including lactation accommodations, physical or mental disability, age, immigration or citizenship status, veteran or active military status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.
