Responsibilities
● Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, coffee, tea, and other café menu items
● Assist with food preparation and presentation
● Deliver exceptional customer service to café guests
● Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and credit transactions
● Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café
● Restock inventory
● Help maintain food safety and sanitation standards
● Support opening and closing procedures
● Assist with training new team members and leading by example
● Create a warm, welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back
● Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
● 1 year of barista or café experience preferred
● Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Reliable and dependable
● Morning and weekend availability required
● Willingness to obtain ServSafe Certification (food handling certifications)
Physical Requirements
● Ability to stand for extended periods
● Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
