Le Parfait Paris in San Diego, CA is looking for one Overnight Production Manager in charge of managing the overnight shift in order to finish baking bake goods, assembling pastries and controlling everything is properly packed per store before the driver start delivering to each pastry shops (total of 8). We are located at 3555 India Street, 92103.

Applications without pastry or bakery production experience will not be considered.

Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, reliable and responsible.

Starting time 1am until 9:30am. Full time 5 days a week, 8hrs shifts.

Must have Weekends and Holidays available!!

  • In order to qualify for this position, you must have 2 to 3 years of managerial experience in restaurant/bakery/pastry or you must have worked in a similar work environment.
  • Previous experience in baking and cake decoration is required, or equivalent experience in a similar food industry environment.

Responsibilities

  • OVERSEE OVERNIGHT SHIFT, LEAD 3 to 4 PEOPLE WITH YOU.
  • Plan your production night when printing your shift production report
  • Be part of the overnight production (assembling, baking, finishing decoration on cakes and packing all products in delivery boxes per stores) 
  • Control oven temperatures are set properly and monitor or modify as needed
  • Mentor and manage your overnight team to ensure all products are done following company standard and everything is finished on time. 
  • Control with delivery driver that everything is properly boxed and organized in the truck
  • Place fruits orders based on inventory
  • Train new hired 
  • Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment

Qualifications

  • In order to qualify for this position, you must have 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant/bakery/pastry or you must have worked in a similar work environment.
  • You must have managerial experience. 
  • You must be attentive to detail in all aspects of baking
  • You must be good in time management and problem solving
  • You must be dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
  • As a Plus, you already have your servsafe certification

Responsabilidades:

  • Supervisar el turno nocturno, liderando un equipo de 3 a 4 personas
  • Planificar la noche de producción revisando el informe de producción del turno
  • Formar parte activa de la producción nocturna: ensamblar, hornear, decorar pasteles y empacar todos los productos en cajas de entrega por tienda
  • Controlar que las temperaturas del horno estén configuradas correctamente y hacer ajustes según sea necesario
  • Guiar y gestionar al equipo nocturno para asegurar que todos los productos cumplan con los estándares de la empresa y se finalicen a tiempo
  • Verificar junto con el conductor de entregas que todo esté bien empacado y organizado en el camión
  • Realizar pedidos de frutas según inventario
  • Capacitar a nuevos empleados
  • Limpiar y desinfectar la estación de trabajo y los equipos

Requisitos:

  • Tener de 2 a 3 años de experiencia en restaurante, panadería o pastelería, o haber trabajado en un entorno similar
  • Tener experiencia en gestión de equipos
  • Atención al detalle en todos los aspectos del horneado
  • Buena gestión del tiempo y capacidad para resolver problemas
  • Compromiso con el trabajo en equipo para lograr un objetivo común
  • Se valora contar con certificación ServSafe
