We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team at Le Méridien Charlotte | Sheraton Charlotte. This role plays an important part in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly while supporting our team in delivering an exceptional experience for our guests.
Schedule: Full-time with flexible availability for both AM and PM shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas.
- Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist with plate-up and food production as needed.
- Remove trash and maintain clean kitchen floors and work areas.
- Assist with inventory of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure equipment is in proper working condition and report shortages or concerns.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards.
- Support efficient kitchen operations and overall service performance.
Skills to be successful in this role would include:
- Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, reading, writing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
- Other duties may be assigned.
