Responsibilities

• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Offer additional services like hair extensions, hair threading, or straight razor shaves to enhance client satisfaction.
• Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their preferences and advising on hair care routines and retail products.
• Upsell retail products and additional treatments to maximize client experience and salon revenue.
• Stay updated on industry trends, color theory, and new techniques by participating in ongoing education and mentoring opportunities.

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Expertise in hair coloring, hair styling, hair extensions, and hair care techniques.
• Skilled in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and precision cuts.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and building lasting relationships.
• Ability to perform retail sales with upselling strategies to increase revenue streams.
• Familiarity with store management principles to independently run your booth efficiently.
