Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role for an Event Operations Manager, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area with heavy remote work. The Event Operations Manager will oversee the planning and execution of event logistics, budget management, and customer service during varying types of events such as roundtables, summits, and festivals. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing timelines, ensuring quality operations, and facilitating effective communication with internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in Operations Management, including organizing processes and ensuring seamless delivery of event objectives.
- Expertise in Event Planning and coordinating all aspects of events, from pre-event preparations to post-event evaluations.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for collaborating with clients and internal teams, as well as managing on-site event execution.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial efficiency without compromising quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in managing hybrid work environments is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and travel within the New York City Metropolitan Area, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
